Syracuse, N.Y. — It was quite a Friday for Syracuse players shooting at the buzzer.
Hours after Emily Engstler and Kamilla Cardoso sent the Syracuse women’s basketball team to the ACC semifinals with multiple buzzer-beaters, Elijah Hughes hit a half-court buzzer beater at halftime of a G-League game, bringing back memories of his memorable full-court heave against Duke.
Hughes’ Salt Lake Stars lost the game, 104-84, to the Lakeland Magic.

Game winner for Kamilla Cardoso! @CuseWBB with a resilient win. Overcame Pricilla Williams being carted off the court after hard fall to advance to @accwbb semifinals tomorrow at noon. pic.twitter.com/0hJxfIdo00
